Poor Daddy Long Legs scuttles about
the bathroom, looking for the exit.
Meanwhile, Wingy Bug of undetermined species
emerges from Daddy's same hiding spot.
We scoop Daddy into a cup,
carefully sliding a paper under him,
and carry him outside to safety--
a home with a garden view.
I stomp Wingy with my sneaker
and tissue up the black smudge.
I've got limited reserves of kindness,
and Daddy outranked the little dude.

This is such a timely post for me because I am selling my house and it turns out that we have carpenter ants, bees and bats. I guess I have been a little too kind with the critters ;)
Sometimes you just gotta do what you gotta do.
Oh my! My critters must have been channeling your critters. Good luck with selling your house!
When I get a mosquito bite, it swells up huge and lasts for weeks. So I'm an avowed mosquito murderer. (Apologies to your mom-in-law!)
It beats road rage, right?
Kindness only extends so far! Goodbye, winged thing.
Oh, this made me laugh! I probably would not have had kindness for either one of them. But, good for you for saving Daddy. It is his weekend after all:)
Nice! I would've stomped them both. ;)
better a quick death than a slow one at the hands of a spider.
This is so very clever! I agree that Daddy outranks the other dude.
Namaste..........cj
Sadly, there were more to take his place...
I hadn't thought of that!
On any other day...
